LOAN DISCLOSURE

Evangeline Parish, Acadia Parish and Rapides Parish are the primary market areas for The Evangeline Bank and Trust Company.

We promote the availability of credit to all creditworthy applicants, without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, or age (provided the applicant has the capacity to contract). Additionally, we promote the availability of credit to all creditworthy applicants, without regard to the fact all or part of the applicant's income is derived from a public assistance program; or to the fact that the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. We may order an appraisal to determine the property’s value and charge you for this appraisal. We will promptly give you a copy of any appraisal, even if your loan does not close. You can pay for an additional appraisal for your own use at your own cost. The action taken notification will be provided by mail within 30 days after receiving a completed or incomplete application or within 90 days after notifying you of a counteroffer if you do not expressly accept or use the credit offer.

At this time, we are not offering online credit applications. For a credit application please visit any one of our Loan Officers at one of our convenient bank locations.

NOTICE OF THE POSTING OF NOTE PAYMENT PROCEDURES
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 2009

Any note payments received by a bank employee in person or received electronically by 2:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, at any of the bank’s locations will be posted as of the date of receipt. If a location closes earlier, payments will be accepted and posted until the time of closing.

When using the following methods of making payments, the payments will be posted on the next business day:

  • After 2:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday, in person, at any location
  • Thru the night drop box
  • Saturday by drive thru locations
  • Saturday mail delivery
  • Telephone Banking/Internet Banking Transactions originated by the Customer after 2:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday, anytime Saturday or Sunday, a holiday, or a day that the bank is otherwise closed.

ATTENTION COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS

Effective December 1, 2009: The Evangeline Bank and Trust Company will follow the Federal Regulation GG which requires this Institution to identify and block, or otherwise prevent and prohibit, restricted transactions (the crediting of proceeds from illegal Internet gambling) for a business that engages in internet gambling.
